The Baptist Jubilee Advance Collection (1955-1965) contains seven linear feet of materials in fourteen document boxes. The Collection deals with the Southern Baptist Convention role in the organization and planning of the Baptist Jubilee Advance from 1959-1964 that culminated in the Baptist Jubilee Celebration held May 1964 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In 1965, files from the offices of W. C. Fields, Albert McClellan, Porter Routh, C. C. Warren, and Davis C. Woolley, were transferred to the Historical Commission to form the collection with some other items added later. Materials are arranged by committee alphabetically and then chronologically, and include addresses, articles, clippings, correspondence, manuscripts, minutes, pamphlets, programs, and reports
